IKONO – en kulturel destination, der inspirerer unge kunstnere

8. april 2025

For an artist, inspiration and creative estimulate are the spark that light up their imagination. The possibility of immersing themselves in spaces where art and innovation converge not only feeds their talent, but allows them to express themselves with greater freedom to take creativity to unknown levels.

That is why UngiAarhus, a Danish public organization dedicated to encourage young talent, has chosen to visit IKONO Copenhagen on the occasion of its 18th edition of the Spring Salon. This event is Denmark’s largest youth art exhibition and, in 2025, its central theme is the “Pulse” as a creative engine. “Unlike traditional exhibitions, IKONO is not just a space filled with artworks, but art itself, which can be experienced and understood in countless ways. For many young people, engaging with it through all their senses – through play and imagination – offers a new and exciting perspective,” comments Emma Hedeager Thesbjerg, Spring Exhibition Coordinator at UngiAarhus.

In this way, IKONO and UngiAarhus share their desire to experiment from a new paradigm in which art comes to life in a single space. IKONO is much more than a sensorial experience, it is a cultural journey where curious minds can discover the pulse of a new artistic concept and create their own story.    In addition, your inner child is awakened as you play with perception, challenge your senses and find inspiration in every corner.

Without any doubt, these synergies are what give meaning to experiences like IKONO, which seek to inspire and make the imagination fly of everyone who connects with their art. IKONO is an invitation to dive into new adventures and awaken creativity!
