In a city known for its timeless elegance and cultural richness, there is a space where imagination takes the lead and tradition is reinvented, IKONO Vienna. As part of the fifth anniversary of IKONO globally and the first in Austria, Vienna is celebrating with a creative proposal that invites visitors to play outside the lines.
A Year of play, art, and connection
Since its opening, IKONO Vienna has welcomed around 200,000 visitors, mostly local young people looking for a new way to experience cultural leisure. One that is not passively consumed, but lived, felt, and shared. As the first location designed around a fully optimized version of the IKONO concept, Vienna marked a turning point for the brand, raising the standard of what an immersive experience can be.
A living mural, a creative community
To celebrate this milestone, IKONO Vienna invites visitors to leave their mark from May 22, a mural will be installed in the space, inviting all creative minds to draw, write, and above all, play outside the established lines within a collective artwork in constant evolution. This initiative reflects IKONO’s DNA, promoting self-expression, play, and connection through art.

The new iris room: A unique gaze
As part of the celebration, IKONO Vienna unveils one of its most intriguing additions, a brand-new room focused on the human iris. Just like the immersive IKONO experience, each iris is unique and unexpected, Its pattern is unrepeatable, making it the perfect centerpiece for an experience where visitors can capture their own iris in high-resolution photographs—available for both adults and children from the age of five.
Playing outside the lines: A brand philosophy
“Vienna was a turning point for IKONO, a space where our vision matured and came to life in a new way,” says Fernando Pastor, co-founder and CEO of IKONO. “One year later, it’s exciting to see how people have embraced the experience, not just as a form of entertainment, but as a way to connect, express, and create.”
With seven locations across Europe, more than one million visitors and a growing creative community, IKONO continues to pursue its mission: turning every visit into a sensorial and participatory journey, where every corner invites you to rediscover the extraordinary in the everyday.
